  3. Take a bowl put 750ml of maize meal then add 500ml of cold water. Pour inside the pot then stir until its mixed well.

A very tasty restaurant variation is to cook sweet potatoes, mash them. Leftover mashed potatoes aren't very good if you just reheat them and serve them as is. Use leftover mashed potatoes from Thanksgiving dinner to make these delicious, crisp potato patties. Best made with fresh potatoes, as opposed to instant, with a stiff potato consistency. I just boil a few potatoes and smash them with a fork.
